Caring for your legs between microsclerotherapy sessions
After each session, the doctor determines the compression regimen and how long compression garments should be worn. This schedule should not be changed without medical advice.
During the first few days after the procedure, it is important to walk regularly and avoid prolonged periods of sitting or standing without movement. Intense exercise, strength training involving the legs, running, saunas, hot baths, and other forms of significant heat exposure should be postponed for the period recommended by the doctor.
The areas where injections were performed should be protected from intense sun exposure. This is particularly important if bruising or changes in skin colour are still present after the procedure.
There is no need to assess the result every day between sessions. Treated vessels may temporarily become darker or feel firmer, while bruising at the injection sites may persist for some time. The next stage of treatment is planned based on the changes that occur after the previous procedure.
If you develop increasing pain, significant swelling, or spreading redness, contact the doctor performing your microsclerotherapy.
Booking a microsclerotherapy course for both legs
A three-session course involves several consecutive procedures, so the date of the next appointment is scheduled according to the progress of treatment and the response of the treated vessels. If you have any questions or notice unusual changes after a previous session, they should be discussed with your doctor before the next procedure.
