• Diagnostics of sleep disorders: biological, sensory, psychological, or behavioral causes
• Development of a personalized sleep routine considering age norms and the unique characteristics of the child
• Adaptation to sensitive periods (teething, growth spurts, schedule changes due to kindergarten, travel, relocation, birth of a sibling)
• Organization of a safe sleep environment

Work with issues such as:

• Frequent night awakenings
• Short daytime naps (15–40 minutes)
• Early waking
• Refusal of daytime sleep
• Late bedtime or waking

Work with sleep associations:

• Falling asleep only while breastfeeding/bottle-feeding
• Falling asleep only when rocked, carried, or in a stroller
• Sleeping only on the parent’s body (mother as a “living mattress”)
• Falling asleep only with a pacifier
• Refusal to fall asleep independently in bed or in the room
